Hello Lovelies,
I work as a full-time Graphic Designer, and I am a part-time indie-author. Today I made a big decision.
I told my boss that I wanted to quit to focus on my writing career.
I am young enough to try this. I'm only 23.
I want to see how well I can do if I focus on writing 100%, (rather than the 10% I am now).
It is my dream to be a full-time author, and I am going to try and make that dream come true.
This may mean I am poor for several months, but I have enough support to make it work.
I have done quite well in the last 6 months with my writing, getting many positive reviews, and making a bit of cash. Hopefully I can turn this into my full time occupation.
If I don't at least TRY, I will regret it forever.
Any support you can give me would be much appreciated.
Tweet about my books. Share my facebook fanpage, or anything else to help spread the word
Woah! Good luck! I really hope it works for you.
ReplyDeleteThank you! I'm pretty scared!
DeleteGood Luck with everything, I quit a few years ago before Kindle books became popular and was self-publishing on my own. It's a great time to be a writer just keep writing and putting out good books and the readers will come.
ReplyDeleteI love seeing such passion when it comes to authors. I'm the same way about my writing, and I think it's beautiful that you have the motivation and support to do this. I definitely support you and think you're brave!! :-)
